Dc conduction loss

One of the methods, devised by van Turnhout while studying the crystal transitions in poly(vinylidene fluoride), is to analyze either ds ldT or de ld(lo%f) as a function of temperature, since e" is a derivative of e. Analysis of the derivative of e minimizes the problem due to the dc conduction loss, so that any underlying transition can be investigated in detail.
