D- and a-L-Arabino furano sidases

Significant differences occur between the interactions of glycosaminoglycans with a particular lysosomal protein leading to inhibition of lysosomal enzymes including an arabinosidase.  

Chromatographies, polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, and isoelectric focusing have been used to study the oc-L-arabinosidase activity of a partially purified preparation of almond emulsin.

Patterns of a-L-arabino-furanosidase secreted by M.fructigena, M. fructicoloy and M. laxa were studied by column isoelectric focusing (p7 values 5.1 3.0 and 7.0 and 6.7 and 7.2 respectively).
