Cyclosarin toxicity

Worek, R, Seeger, T., Goldsmith, M., et al., 2014a. Efficacy of the rePONl mutant IIGl to prevent cyclosarin toxicity in vivo and to detoxify structurally different nerve agents in vitro. Arch. Toxicol. 88, 1257-1266. [Pg.856]

Anthony, J.S., Haley, M., Manthei, J., Way, R., Burnett, D., Gaviola, B., Sommerville, D. et al. (2004). Inhalation toxicity of cyclosarin (GF) vapor in rats as a function of exposure concentration and duration potency comparison to sarin (GB). Inhal. Toxicol. 16 103-11. [Pg.60]

A single exposure to another nerve agent, cyclosarin, at concentrations that do not produce convulsions or severe clinical signs of toxicity can also produce performance deficits on learned behavioral tasks. However, with repeated exposure, the deficits are not persistent and recovery is complete. In addition, exposure concentrations not producing any evaluated clinical signs of toxicity, other than temporary miosis (in the case of inhalation exposure), do not produce performance deficits on the behavioral tasks (Genovese et al, 2006). [Pg.488]

Organophosphate (OP) nerve agents. These agents are extremely toxic compoimds that work by interfering with the nervous system, and include soman, sarin, cyclosarin, tabun, and VX. [Pg.600]

Kassa, J., Humlicek, V. (2008). A comparison of the potency of newly developed oximes (K074, K075) and currently available oximes (obidoxime, trimedoxime, HI-6) to counteract acute toxic effects of tabun and cyclosarin in mice. Drug Chem. Toxicol. 31 127-35. [Pg.1018]
