Cycloalkenes competitive hydrogenation

The competitive hydrogenation of pairs of cycloalkenes over metal catalysts has been studied by a number or workers [234,235,239,241] in an attempt to establish the mechanism of hydrogenation. The results of these studies have been discussed in detail in a recent review [239] and will not be discussed further here.
