Crystallizer mean specific power input

The greater the density difference Ap = p -Pt between the density p of the crystals and the density p of the liquid the higher the mean specific power input necessary for off-bottom lifting of crystals. A large stirrer diameter J in a vessel with the diameter D is advantageous for a given suspension with the properties Ap, p, and of the two-phase system. Furthermore the height /f of the vessel plays a role.
