Corrosion tests block designs

The Turbini-modified (Ref 18) corrosion coupon is shown in Fig. 8. This represents a shrinking of the space between anode and cathode from 2 to 0.5 mm (0.08 to 0.02 in.) to coincide with the IPC-B-24 comb dimensions. The current limiting resistors in Bono s design have been placed on a resistor block, which is outside the temperature/humidity chamber in which the boards are placed.
