Consequences of polymer formation

Monomer to polymer transformation must necessarily affect all properties of the polymerizing system. Most changes are back-reflected into the polymerization mechanism and kinetics, either as a result of the direct effects of the generated polymer on some of the basic steps or on all of them simultaneously.
