The isolation and structure determination of condurangamines A (53) and B (54) from the bark of Marsdenia condurango Reichenb. have been reported. 

The glycosidic component of a pregnane glycoside obtained from the bark of Marsdenia condurango is an important contributor to its cell differentiation inducing ability. It contains a 6-deoxy-3-0-methyl-P-D-allose p-D-oleandrose-p-D-cymarose trisaccharide unit. 

Conduritol, a tetrahydroxyclyclohexene, has been found only in the bark of Go-nolubus condurango (see 39).
