Computer-aided design moulding

The next stage is to produce a working model which may be produced by a craftsman or, more probably, with modern technology, by soft moulds linked to a computer-aided design (CAD) system. At this stage, the project becomes complex, as almost always the engineering aspects are dealt with by an external company, even if the design work is internal. 

This is a highly simplified version of the mould-filling calculation performed in computer-aided design. In the diagram, the weld line bisects the angle OZO. ...
