Compression tube

This was accomplished by using Yor-Lok compression tube fittings. Yor-Lok fittings are comparable with Swagelok, A-Lok, and Let-Lok type fittings.

Rubber tubing made of neoprene, EPDM, or butyl is an excellent but expensive backup material. In essence, the tubing acts as a duad system with the sealant, since the partly compressed tubing will also act as a water barrier in case the sealant suffers a loss of adhesion. 

There are a variety of ways to support the inner vessel within the vacuum jacket. Rods and cables are most widely used however, saddle bands, plastic compression blocks, stacked disks, compression tubes, and welded straps have also been employed. Often springs or washers are installed at the connecting ends of these supports to reduce the thermal conduction. 

A slight variation in the difference between mass and volume changes the body s balance, causing it to sink, balance, or come to the surface in a liquid. The entire length of each side of the bases is used to eontrol this difference, which are called compression tubes. 

Each compression tube consists of a plunger, a stepper motor, a raek, a rail, and a support base for all these eomponents illustrated in Figure 3. 

Within each compression tube, there is also a system of plates (control, communication, RF, and driver). The battery used will be detailed in the following sections.
