Compliance in Threads and Lead Screw Supports

By combining the two models presented in Sects. 5.5 and 5.6, a 3-DOF model of the lead screw drive is constructed as shown in Fig. 5.11. The equations of motion of this system are defined by (5.16), (5.17), and (5.28).
