Complexes vinylgold

The reaction of [AuMe(PPh3)] with hexafluorobut-2-yne ultimately gave the binuclear vinylgold(I) complex [(Ph3P)AuC(CF3 =C(CF3)Au(PPh3)] (7/) the crystal structure of this compound has been determined (72) and shows a cis configuration about the double bond.
