Comorbidity of MCS, CFS, and FM

Patients with MCS, CFS, and FM report many of the same symptoms, including myalgia, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and impairment of their ability to perform daily activities. Severe chemical intolerance is prevalent among 20-47% of patients with MCS, CFS, and/or FM.  [Pg.447]

In a second study, 70% of patients with FM and 30% of those with MCS met the clinical criteria for CFS.  [Pg.447]
