To ride out this uncomfortable part of the journey, I burrowed into my sleeping bag and stayed nestled for perhSps forty-five minutes. I saw colored lights and geometric forms and became aware of tension in my body. I used my meditation training to release. I knew this to be clearing and centering for the visions that would come.
