Coadsorption of Thiourea with Inorganic Anions

Martin Fleischmann and coworkers were the first to recognize that the high sensitivity and high energy resolution of EC-SERS, combined with an analysis of the potential dependence of frequency and intensity of the bands, could be used to characterize the details of layers involving the coadsorption of two species. Two types of electrochemical coadsorption 

Tian s group also studied the thiourea + C104 system by using time-resolved- SERS (TR-SERS) measurements [55]. The intensities ofthe different bands were shown to change on different time scales following a potential step (e.g., from -0.9 V to -0.3 V).
