CO2 Recovery Step

Pure CO2 is obtamed at the outlet of the bed after this new equilibrium is reached. Part of the outgoing CO2 should be compressed for transportation and sequestration, while the other part can be recycled to the inlet of the bed at a temperature which is slightly higher than due to the heat production associated with compression in the recycle blower and some unavoidable heat leaks. When all COj has been recovered, the bed is switched to a step in which HjO is removed and the bed is cooled simultaneously. [Pg.12]

Alternatively, the deposited CO2 could be recovered as liquid, avoiding expensive compression costs required for transportation and storage. This could be accomplished [Pg.12]
