Reagents. Celecoxib and rofecoxib were prepared from commercial Celebrex and Vioxx (AmeriSource Health, Malvern, PA) capsules, respectively, by solvent extraction followed by recrystallization. DuP697 was a gift from Professor Hsin-Hsi-ung Tai (University of Kentucky), and NS398 and indo-1 AM were obtained from Calbiochem (La Jolla, CA).
