MOPP 2 Soldiers put on their chemical protective footwear covers, green vinyl overboots, or a field-expedient item (eg, vapor-barrier boots), and the protective helmet cover is worn. As with MOPP 1, the overgarment jacket may be left unbuttoned but the trousers remain closed. 

And, are you wearing the appropriate eye protection the moment you walk into the lab, regardless of what chemicals you expect, or don t expect to And Are you wearing inappropriate footwear like sandals or shoes that do not cover your feet adequately ... 

A last choice, but least preferred as a choice on its own, is to use personal protective equipment - chemical goggles respirator or breathing apparatus head covering apron or suitable overalls suitable footwear and gloves for a particular chemical.
