Chalk, Alan

Alan J. Chalk I should like to comment on the point raised by Dr. Dessy on coordinately unsaturated catalysts and on some points in the paper. [Pg.217]

The history of hydrosilation chemistry is more or less contemporaneous with the independent research career of the author. I will use the term hydrosilation throughout this piece since it was the term coined by Alan Chalk and me, in analogy to the already widely used hydroboration . In the intervening years the term hydrosilylation has also been widely used. In this brief essay, the history of hydrosilation will be highlighted by references to the works of both the author and his collaborators, and to a number of works by others that are seen as milestones in the development of the field. The limitations of time and space compel the omission of reference to many significant contributions that have been made by others. [Pg.392]

Chalke, S. The Wisden Cricketer, October 2004, p. 61. (Alan Dixon)... [Pg.620]
