A series of experiments to determine cesium distribution using Cs tracer techniques was completed. The distribution of cesium in response to increasing concentrations of NaOH and NaNO at two temperatures, 20 C and 35°C, was examined. Contacting experiments were carried out using an O/A of unity. All contacts were performed in duplicate. The aqueous phase consisted of 0.5 mM CsNOj and varied concentrations of either NaOH or NaNO at 0.01, 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 2.25, 4.5, and 5.6 M.
