Cerium -sulfate.octahydrate

Cerium(IV) sulfate Ce(S04)2 4H20 -97 Erbium sulfate octahydrate Er2(S04)3-8H20 +74600... [Pg.813]

Hydrated lanthanide sulfates have been studied for structure and for thermal and kinetic stability (Niinisto and Leskela 1987). Except for lanthanum and cerium, the sulfates tend to crystallize as octahydrates with all water molecules coordinated to the central ion (Dereigne et al. 1972). For Ce and La, the most stable sulfates are the nine coordination hydrates. An X-ray diffraction study of Ce2(S04)3-9H20... [Pg.396]
