CDP microspheres

/3-CD is dissolved in 20% NaOH aqueous solution, then EPI is dropped in with stiring. The mixture reacts for 1.5 h at room temperature, and then 200 kerosene which contains emulsifier (n (tween 20) n (span 80) = 1 3) is added and vigorously mixed for 5 min to make the water phase disperse. Finally, the reaction system is heated up to 60° C, stirring speed is reduced while continuing to react for 8 h. The product is filtered and washed with diluted hydrochloric acid, methanol, distilled water and acetone, respectively. After wash, the product is dried imder vacuum. [Pg.170]

At present, CDP which is used in medication control release is a hot research direction in CD science. Relevant reports are limited, especially the study on control release of traditional Chinese medicine. Researches in which j8-CDP is used as microspheres to control the release of medicine are important for development of new form and modernization of traditional Chinese medicine. [Pg.170]

Some researchers prepared magnetic polymer microsphere using -CD which included magnetic material by crosslinking method [37]. [Pg.170]

Magnetic polymer microsphere is a kind of microspheres which combines inorganic polymer and magnetic materials. It is magnetic and surface modifiable, therefore, has a wide application in the targeted drugs, immobilized enzyme and cell separation, etc. [Pg.170]
