Cationic complexes mono

The mechanism of uptake and retention of the mono-cationic 99mTc complexes in the myocardium - or other tissues - has not been fully resolved. Most of the mechanistic studies have been conducted with 99mTc (MIBI)6f and "mTc-diphosphine complexes. It has been shown that these mono-cationic complexes are not taken up in myocytes via the Na+/K+-ATPase pump as is 201T1+ [41]. Instead, these cationic tracers are localized and retained in cellular membranes, including mitochondrial membranes [41]. [Pg.134]

The interactions of (212) and related species with monovalent and divalent metal cations have been studied by nmr spectroscopy (Lehn Simon, 1977). The study indicated that sequential formation of mono-and di-cation complexes occurs (see [4.7]). These studies, and especially a 13C nmr study of the 1 1 complex of (212) with barium nitrate, suggest that the 1 1 species are unsymmetrical with the metal ion being contained in one of the azacrown cavities. Nevertheless, the nmr data also indicate that these 1 1 species undergo internal cation exchange between the respective azacrown sites. This intramolecular dynamic behaviour serves... [Pg.126]

The bis-DIOP complex HRh[(+)-DIOP]2 has been used under mild conditions for catalytic asymmetric hydrogenation of several prochiral olefinic carboxylic acids (273-275). Optical yields for reduction of N-acetamidoacrylic acid (56% ee) and atropic acid (37% ee) are much lower than those obtained using the mono-DIOP catalysts (10, II, 225). The rates in the bis-DIOP systems, however, are much slower, and the hydrogenations are complicated by slow formation of the cationic complex Rh(DIOP)2+ (271, 273, 274) through reaction of the starting hydride with protons from the substrate under H2 the cationic dihydride is maintained [cf. Eq. (25)] ... [Pg.352]

A cationic complex, formed in situ from 5 and [Rh(COD)2]OTf, was also active in biphasic hydrogenation [14]. No preference for the fluorous phase was found for ligands containing only one perfluoroalkyl tail, but neutral and cationic complexes, containing mono- and bidentate 4a or 5, respectively, were selectively dissolved in the fluorous phase. No leaching and recycling studies were performed. [Pg.1379]

Silver(n) and Silvery hi).—The cationic complex bis-(2,2, 2"-terpyridyl)Ag2+ has been isolated as its peroxydisulphate salt.217 The presence of a d-+d band at 15600 cm-1 is indicative of a six-co-ordinate ion. X-ray photoelectron spectra have provided Ag(3d5/2>3/2) binding energies for this complex and the mono-terpy complex. The influence of pyridine and 2-, 3-, and 4-picoline on bis(diethyl dithio-carbamato)AgH has been examined by e.s.r. spectroscopy.218 The results indicate formation of mono-addition products and the spin hamiltonian parameters for these complexes have been determined. [Pg.428]

The octasubstituted cored dendrimer 24-FeAr containing 24 cationic aminoarene iron moieties [dendr-( 6-NHC6H4MeFeCp )24] (Cp = rj5-CsMes), i.e. eight tripods, was compared to the analogous mono- and trimetallic amino-arene cationic complexes (resp. 1-FeAr and 3-FeAr, Scheme 9 and Fig. 12) with the same amino-arene iron-sandwich structure for the... [Pg.142]

The synthesis and characterization of the neutral homoenolate mono-Gp CpTiC CF CF COOEt) and cationic bis-Cp titanium [Cp2TiCFl2CF[2COOEt]+Znl3 derivatives have been reported. The molecular structure of the cationic complex shows ester coordination to give a five-membered metallacycle (Scheme 499).53... [Pg.544]

Gellman and coworkers have reported the binding of ammonium ions, as well as halide ions, in methanol-chloroform by a macrocycle containing a phosphine oxide and two sulfoxide functionalities (Figure 54) [75]. Mono-alkylammonium halides (except fluoride) were found to bind via both anion and cation complexation. [Pg.68]
