Some of Forman s examples date from a period when his casebooks survive, but are not recorded in them. Many of these are for people with whom Forman was particularly friendly, suggesting that for these cases he kept supplementary sets of notes, as, for instance he seems to have done for nativities, maritime questions, and geomantical figures—e.g. the case of William Allen, 22 Mar. 1597, with direction to loke 1597 the 16 March pm at 15 p i fig per infirmata . This is an example in The grounds of arte though it is not recorded in the casebooks Ashm. 1495, fo. 496. [Pg.137]
