Carboxyphenyl 4-methylphenyl tellurium reacted with 4-methyl-benzenethiol in the presence of carbonyldiimidazole to produce 4-methylphenyl 2-(4 -methylphenylthiocarbon-yl)-phenyl tellurium2.
