Carbon-glass resistance thermometer

The temperature-resistance characteristics of the carbon-glass resistance thermometers (CGRT) are typified by the negative dR/dt expected for semiconductors. The R versus T behavior is smooth and monotonic, as is the slope dR/dT, This makes calibration and analytical representation easier than for the GeRTs. [Pg.536]

Special applications, such as in high-magnetic fields, require special thermometers. The carbon-glass and strontium-titinate resistance thermometers have the least magnetoresistance effects. [Pg.1136]

CX 1050 is a Cernox and RX 202A is a ruthenium oxide from LakeShore. Ge 100 and Ge 1000 are Cryocal germanium thermometers [45]. [Pg.220]
