Capillary electrophoresis electromigration injections

Injection by electromigration. This approach, used in gel electrophoresis, is achieved by putting the sample at a potential of appropriate polarity compared to the other extremity and dipping the capillary into it for a few seconds. In contrast to the first method, this mode of injection provokes a discrimination on the compounds present, which leads to non-representative sampling of the analytes in the sample. [Pg.117]
