Callichilia subsessilis

Callichilia Hedanthera) barteri (Hook, f.) Pichon Calliehilia stenosepala Stapf Callichilia subsessilis Stapf Catharanthus lanceus Boj. ex A. DC. (see Vinca lancea K. Schum.)... [Pg.18]

Earlier studies of the structure of callichiline from the African plant, Callichilia subsessilis were inconclusive, although the available evidence appeared to favor structure 601 (1). The structure has been solved by an X-ray crystallographic analysis of the alkaloid which revealed the structure and relative configuration of callichiline as shown in 602 (372). [Pg.289]

Callichilia barteri has appeared as Hedranthera barteri, but C. subsessilis demands the name Tabernaemontana subsessilis in the presentation of its alkaloid content. [Pg.144]

The alkaloid callichiline occurs in Callichilia barteri and C. subsessilis Stapf. and differs from the rest of the vobtusine group in the mode of linkage between the two halves . [Pg.294]
