All this indicates that ISC (inter-system-crossing) plays an important role in the reaction, since the occurrence of channels (2b), (2c), and (2d), which account for about 2/3 of the overall reaction yield, can only be rationalized assuming that ISC between triplet and singlet PESs is occurring very efficiently.
