An esoteric example of a dehydrogenative route to a dithiolene involves the thermolysis of Cp2TiSs. In the product, two H atoms on one Cp ring have migrated to allow the formation of a cyclopentene-l,2-dithiolate derivative (Eq. 24) (266).
