Butylated hydroxylanisole

There is great interest in using extracts with antioxidative properties from natural sources to replace the now banned commercial antioxidants BHT and butylated hydroxylanisole (BHA). In addition to tocopherols, sage and rosmarin extracts are the most commercially produced natural antioxidants used today (Cuvelier et al., 1996).
