Brin s Oxygen Company

Oxygen gas first produced industrially (from BaOi) by A. Brin and L. W. Brin s Oxygen Company. 

In 1906, Linde licensed his patents to Brin s Oxygen Company (BOC) in exchange for company shares and a seat on the board of directors. (The company later changed its name to the British Oxygen Company.) In 1907, BOC (as Linde s licensee) and Claude s Air Liquide were involved in a series of patent disputes that culminated in settlements that permitted their respective companies to thrive. Linde also enforced his patents against both German and Swiss competitors.
