His work, called a classical example of the scientific method, was the second and last of his independent publications. The X-ray diffraction method was originated by Max von Laue (Nobel Prize, 1914) but carried further by the Braggs. William Lawrence Bragg was only 25 years old when he and his father, William Henry Bragg, won the Nobel Prize in 1915. [Pg.556]
