Boron trifluoride grades available

The submitters use the purified, redistilled grade of boron trifluoride etherate available from Aldrich Chemical Company, Inc.

Boron trifluoride-diethyl etherate solution, 48%, is commercially available and was used without prior purification. Both the submitters and checkers used reagent grade material from Fluka Chemie AG. 

Boron trifluoride is also available in high-purity grades for use in the electronics industry. Gas purity guidelines have been developed and published by the Semiconductor Equipment and Materials International and can be found in the Book of SEMI Standards, Gases Volume [1].
