Bond Strength of FRP-to-Concrete Joints

For FRP plates or sheets bonded to a concrete substrate, there is an effective bond length beyond which any increase in the bonded length cannot increase the total load the bonded 

FRP is able to carry. In this sense, the bond behaviour of FRP-to-concrete is essentially different to the behaviour of the steel rebar-to-concrete bond.
