Blends of HDPE, LDPE, and VLDPE

HDPE matrix in form of layers is embedding elongated PP particles lamellae of HDPE with good contrast, lamellae of PP with a weak contrast  

EP copolymer (reactor blend, with 12 mol% C2) forms the matrix HDPE particles are well distributed void formation because of low adhesion crack/fracture follows the particle/matrix interfaces, falsely implying a larger particle content than 5%  

HDPE particles (with diameters larger than that of material in Eig, 4,67) are surrounded by an EP network void formation and fibrillation at the interface  

PA matrix with PP, FVA particles and 4,2% carboxylized PP as modifier, deformed matrix strands around voids, voids due to debonding between PA and PP or FVA
