Bis enaminoketonato titanium Catalysts

The synthesis and ethylene polymerization activity of bis(enaminoketonato)titanium complexes was reported by Ui and coworkers (Li et al, 2004). At 25 °C, 49a,b/MMAO (Figme 9.7) [Pg.290]

000g/mol) and a norbomene content of 11.1 mol% (Li et al, 2004). Furthermore, the copolymerization of ethylene and cyclopentene (CP) by 49a/MMAO and 49d/MMAO was also shown to possess some characteristics of living behavior.(Tang et al, 2005a) At temperatures from —10 to 30 °C, poly(E-co-CP)s with narrow molecular-weight distributions (Mwl n = 1.23-1.82) were produced. Additionally, a PE-fc/oc/ -poly(E-co-CP) was prepared in a nearly identical manner to the PE-fc/ocfc-poly(E-co-NB). [Pg.292]

Tang et al discussed the effects of further ligand modifications on the copolymetizarion behavior of bis (enaminoketonato)titanium catalysts. At 25 °C, 70/MMAO (Figure 19) produced poly(E-co-NB) with narrow polydisper-sities (Af /M = 1.18-1.31, A( = ca. 200000-570000gmol" ) and NB content ranging from 45 to 47.8 mol.%. The polymerization displayed a linear increase of Afn with time of t= 5-20 min. [Pg.760]
