Bis dimethylamino trifluorophosphorane

Bis(dimethylamino)trifluorophosphorane is a colorless liquid. A melting point of [Pg.186]

The pliotoelectron spectrum of [(CH3)2N] 2PIv exhibits peaks at 8.84 and 9.95 eV that are assigned to ionization of N(2p) lone-pair electrons. [Pg.187]

Mass spectral data have also been reported. The most abundant fragment is the [(CH3)2N]Pp3 species at mje 132. The parent ion at mje 176 appears in 4.5% abundance. Another significant ion, formed by the loss of fluorine from the parent ion, is observed at mje 157 in 4.7% abundance. [Pg.187]
