Biological Evaluation on Bone Repair

After a standardized trephin defect, each defect was filled with a collagen plaster soaked at 40 °C overnight in a saline buffer solution of 100 pg/ml of terpolymer P4 (A) and in a saline buffer alone (B) (Fig. 1). 

After 35 days, the radiographs show a newly formed bone (Fig. lA) which was deposited at full length of original mid sagittal sinus and some calcified new bone modules were connected to the margins ofthe defects.
