Best, Charles properties

Professor Charles Vernon Boys is perhaps the best known popularizer of these properties. He gave numerous lectures and demonstrations at the end of the last century and the beginning of this century. His book Soap Bubbles and the forces which mould them was based on three lectures given to young people at the London Institution during the years 1889 and 1890. Since those days it has been studied by many generations of enquiring school children all over the world. [Pg.9]
