Berthold tritium monitors TMs) detect tritium in the uibome rdease firom the Buildings lOS-K, 105-L, and I05-P ventilation mdiaust stacks. An increase in the tritium activ of the stack exhaust is an indication that a leak contaminated moderator or water has occurred. This information can be used by operating personnel to investigate and contain aiqr. leakage of contaminated moderator or water and therefore minimize the consequences of the leak. The Buildings lOS-K, 105-1 and 105 P ventilation streams can be monitor by the Berthold Tritium Monitors throu the stack exhausts (+148-foot-elevation sample point).
