Benzothiadiazole-Containing PAE

FIGURE 6.14 Benzothiadiazole-containing PAE 88a forms templated nanotowers upon casting into 200 nm pore width Whatman aluminum disks. The towers are 180-200 nm thick and several micrometers long. 

PAEs 31 and 34 form in yields around 90-95% with a of 40-110 (GPC). In the case of the benzothiadiazole containing PAE 37 (Chart 8.14) the molecular weight and the yields are a bit lower. We also tried to repeat the...
