Fasciculations benign

Trojaborg, W, Buchthal, F. (1965). Malignant and benign fasciculations. Acta Neurologica Scandinavica, 47(Issue S13) 251-254. [Pg.8]

Fasciculations associated with progressive weakness are not benign - the underlying disease might be mUd or, infrequently, serious, for example, if there is progressive weakness evolving into ALS. When abnormal, fasciculations and cramps more commonly signal treatable CIDP than ALS. [Pg.38]
