Beehive Shell An improvised beehive shelf can be obtained from empty tin can. The tin can to be used for the purpose should be rust free and its inner and outer surfaces are either galvanised or varnished. To make a beehive shelf drill a hole of 1/2" diameter in the centre of the bottom of tin can and cut a V-shaped notch on one side of it. This can now be used as a beehive shelf. [Pg.209]
