Ball milling nanoparticle size

Wang and Gong have reported a simple, eco-friendly and economical mechano-chemical method for formation of CZTS nanoctystals. " They have demonstrated that the CZTS nanocrystals can be obtained by planetary ball milling of elemental Cu, Zn, Sn and S for ca. 20 hours without using any costly vacuum equipment or polluting solvents. The formation of nanoparticles was attributed to self-sustaining reactions which occur in the ball milling process. They have also reported the preparation of CZTS nanocrystals from nano-sized binary metal sulfide... [Pg.139]
