Availability of Software and Data Input

MinteqA2 is a geochemical speciation code which was released by the U.S. EPA. Version 3.11 was used in this study. The software is available on the internet from the U.S. EPA Center for Exposure Assessment and Modeling (CEAM) as are several manuals (Allison etal. (1991)). 

ProdefA2 was used to generate the input files for MinteqA2. The chemical recipes are given in Table A5.1. 

The characteristics of species in solution are given in Table A5.2. Ion radii were calculated from the diffusion coefficient using the Stokes Einstein equation
