Astrocyte-like cells

In the CNS, many cells share some characteristics with ash ocytes. These astrocytes-like cells are pituicytes, tanycytes.

The cytokines IL-33 and HMGBl are both present in the brain at relatively high concentration within the nucleus of cells, astrocytes in the case of IL-33 and neurons and oligo-dendrocyte-like cells for HMGBl(Hudson et al., 2008 Kim et al.,...
