ASTM D2000 compounds

Commercial Toacron 840 Shaft Seal Compound, ASTM D2000 M5DH706A26B16EO16EO36F13... [Pg.183]

After 6 weeks immersion in highly aromatic ASTM 3 oil or IRM 903 oil at 150°C, compounds of Vamac G, Vamac HG, and Vamac D show a nominal volume increase of 50%. The volmne swell of the LS grades in a similar environment is nominally 25%-30%. This performance results in ASTM D2000 (SAE J200) ratings of EE to EH for Vamac compounds. [Pg.197]

The S AE J200/ASTM D2000 designation for compounds based on the copolymer of epichlorohydrin and ethylene oxide is CH, indicating a service temperature of 125°C and a maximum volume swell in ASTM No. 3 oil of 30%. [Pg.247]

Compounds to meet ASTM D2000 designations given in Table 11.15 are always based upon Thiokol ST in order to meet the compression set basic requirements. [Pg.383]
