The results are summarized in Table 4.4. Enantiopure 7 has a moderate to excellent resolution ability for a variety of 2-arylalkanoic acids. In addition the efficiency of the resolutions strongly depends on the substituent on the aromatic group of the 2-arylalkanoic acids.
