Aroma dendrene

Cycloguaianes are referred to as aromadendranes. Various aromadendrenes and aromadendradienes belong to the constituents of balsamum tolutanum from Myroxylon balsamum (Leguminosae). The oil of sage from Salvia sclarea (Labia-tae), cultivated for perfumery in the south of Europe, contains (+)-l(10)-aroma-dendren-7-ol also known as isospathulenol. [Pg.39]
